A New Option For Payments

Less than half of the American buying public carries a credit card, and less than half of those who do have a credit card actually use it. Internet and phone transactions traditionally have presented a problem for customers who want to pay by check.

Now with Impact's Electronic Phone Checks, customers can pay by phone, which allows merchants to accept payment for merchandise purchased and for payment on accounts. Any business that accepts checks can enjoy the ease and profitability of Impact's Electronic Phone Checks.

Why Phone Payments Make Sense
- The process for accepting payments over the phone is simple.
- On average, phone payments take less than a minute per transaction.
- Impact will educate you on all the rules to be Federal Reserve compliant.
- Payments can be accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Payments can be accepted for future dates.
- Multiple payments can also be set up over the phone.
- Faxed checks are acceptable for payment.

How It Works
Electronic Phone Checks are an extension of Automated Payments. Now merchants' customers can authorize deductions from their bank accounts to pay for goods or services purchased over the telephone. Merchants can now offer a payment option to customers who do not have a credit card.

With Impact's Electronic Phone Checks, accepting a customer's check over the phone or FAX is easy. The merchant asks their customers for the bank routing and account numbers, which are printed at the bottom of every check. The information is then forwarded to Impact's processing center, which "originates" the transaction for deposit into the merchant's account in as little as two banking days.
